1. DRIVE DESIGN WITH NATURE´S PRINCIPLES
It´s key to identify the natural principle that inspires the design, and explain it clearly with images and narrative.
2. KISS APPROACH
Keep it short and simple
3. QUANTIFY
Estimate the benefits of your concept design in terms of rates of generation of the environmental service targeted per year. Example: How many liters of water can your design evaporate per year?
4. CHECK ORIGINALITY
Make sure your design has not been proposed by someone else before. Check that your design adds value (makes thing easier, more efficient, or cheaper)
5. TEST
Run experimental tests to validate your design.
